In the absence of a proper Health Care Directive, your loved ones will have to go to Court to help you in the event of your incapacity.

The law does not presume your spouse or partner has your best interest at heart or that you would want them to make medical decisions for you if you cannot make your own decisions.

If something happens to you, your kids could be taken into the care of strangers.

If you don’t make plans for your incapacity or death now, a judge or the State will be making those decisions for you.
